(Quito, Pichincha, 03/26/2020) .- The Department of State of the United States of North America will transport US citizens who wish to return to their homeland on chartered humanitarian flights.

Two daily flights will depart this Thursday and Friday in the afternoon from the airports of Guayaquil and Quito to Miami. «We are analyzing the possibility of departing flights from Cuenca, but we cannot confirm it at this time,» says an informative audio broadcast by the United States Embassy in Ecuador.

To obtain a ticket on a chartered flight, the applicant must send an e-mail requesting aid to QTOUSCitizen@state.gov and fill out a form.

Once your flight has been confirmed, you will receive an itinerary with detailed instructions for completing the DS-5528 promissory note, and instructions for registration and processing at the airport.

The statement advises US citizens «not to go to the airport unless you have received confirmation of one of the flights.»
